Amsterdam has a wide variety of historic and cultural attractions for visitors. The city is also a paradise for anyone who loves shopping, with everything from rare antiques and eye-catching shoes to unique furniture and lamps on offer. The new 4.5-star boutique hotel V Fizeaustraat is located in the Oost district near Amstel station. It is managed by Amsterdam natives whose family has lived in the city for 12 generations. A renovated 1970s building is home to the new hotel. It is surrounded by a park, which creates a peaceful atmosphere, but nevertheless it is not far from the bustle of the city. Shops, restaurants and bars offer guests a variety of entertainment.

Visitors can choose from a number of different types of room. In the Comfort and Premium rooms, warm wood floors and panelled walls create a comfortable atmosphere. After a busy day, it's good to relax in a pleasant rain shower. The Premium Deluxe rooms are ideal for families to share and there's plenty of room for everyone. The suites provide luxury accommodation, with open fires and comfortable V-Dreamer king-size beds, designed especially for the Hotel V Fizeaustraat. All the rooms are fitted with switches from the Gira E2 range. Their simple design and minimalist lines complement the furnishings perfectly.

For business travellers, there is a conference room that seats up to 60 people. Naturally it has a presentation system, together with free high-speed WiFi. The atmosphere in the Palm Room is very special. It is ideal for presentations, meetings and networking events. Anyone who enjoys a personal touch will feel at home in the private dining area. It has a separate banqueting kitchen where chefs conjure up delicacies for the guests.

The Lobby Fizeaustraat has a distinctive 1970s feel. Switches from the Gira Esprit Linoleum range, with their clear lines and natural materials, have been chosen here to complement the interior design. A wide variety of guests, both young and old, enjoy the pleasant atmosphere of The Lobby during relaxed gatherings or more lively get-togethers. The Lobby is open from breakfast onwards and the bar offers a touch of glamour for guests who like to stay up late.
