MEGASTORES Bergen op Zoom

In Bergen op Zoom heeft Mies Architectuur eerst de herontwikkeling van “Gebouw de Zeeland” mogen ontwerpen tot een succesvol retailcentrum.

Nu is het de beurt aan het omliggende terrein en de bestaande meubelboulevard. In een 3-tal faseringen zal het terrein om “Gebouw de Zeeland” nu gaan veranderen tot een passende stedenbouwkundige omgeving.

Op gepaste afstand van “Gebouw de Zeeland” heeft Mies Architectuur gebouwen ontworpen welke de functionele invulling mogelijk maken voor grootschalige perifere detailhandel zoals bijvoorbeeld de Praxis.

Om de identiteit van “Gebouw de Zeeland” te bewaken hebben wij een gebouw ontworpen wat in zijn materialisatie en textuur een contrast aangaat met het bestaande gebouw, door toepassing van veel glas krijgt men een levendige gevel en wordt het interessant om in dit gebied te verblijven.

Inmiddels is gestart met de eerste fase van de uitvoering, de oplevering is gepland voor de zomer van 2016
