The location
A newly built villa in a gated community, where each resident occupies 2 islands.

The furnishings
Due to the special location this was a great pleasure from the start. The major challenge in this project was to find a compromise between two extremes: Russian fervour and Dutch sobriety. Among the signature elements in the interior is a large fireplace, which looks rather imposing on the one hand but also gives off a sense of serenity and luxury. While the large leather bed in the bedroom matches the taste of the resident, it is not too extravagant. The playful decorations in the children’s rooms in particular make the house worthwhile.

Colours and materials
Warm brown tints set the tone in the interior. Materials such as brass, velour and satin add that little element of glamour that perfectly matches the residents of this superb house.
