Orange Architects is looking for a Junior Architect

Orange Architects is a multidisciplinary and international operating design firm, located in the centre of Rotterdam. Our mission is built on a broad definition of sustainability and is based on three pillars: WORLD | WE | VALUE. Our goal is to incorporate and integrate these themes into all our projects, from the initial sketch to the completion of a project. In this way, we create buildings and environments that have a positive impact on the quality of our lives. To fulfill our mission and achieve this ambition, we are looking for a Junior Architect to join our team.

Are you trained as an architect and strong in both conceptual and technical aspects of design? Then we are looking for you!

We are looking for a Junior Architect with the following profile:

You have a master degree in architecture, or completing the Academy of Bouwkunst,
You have some (work) experience (e.g., through an internship during your studies) with Dutch residential and/or mixed-use projects,
You are available to start immediately.
You want to contribute to a sustainable world,
You are an excellent designer who is strong both conceptually and technically,
You have an affinity for detailing and a keen eye for craft,
You are a well-organized team player with good communication skills,
You have experience with Archicad (BIM),
You are independent, accurate, proactive, and precise,
You have knowledge of Dutch building regulations,
You have experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign,
You have a good command of the English language, speaking Dutch is a pre,
You are available on short notice.
You have a valid EU working permit and live in the Netherlands

What will you do as a Junior Architect?

We are looking for someone who can work broadly and is flexible. This means that you will enjoy designing, modeling, consulting, creating presentations, and performing technical drawing work as part of a team.
