TAILOR-MADE HEADQUARTERS

The headquarters of fashion label s.Oliver stands out due to its clear forms and colours.The building is tailor-made to satisfy its users’ requirements and needs and reflects the company’s dynamism and zeitgeist. The restrained formal language serves as the backdrop against which the s.Oliver fashion world can be presented. The functionally optimised ground plan provides space for creativity and ideas. Two courtyards have been cut into the structure, dividing it into 14-meter-wide wings, providing optimum natural lighting in the interior. A spacious foyer at the north of the structure welcomes visitors to the building. Another courtyard with a garden serves as rest area for the employees. A spectacular oval staircase with adjoining open galleries is the centrepiece of the five-story building. Communicative areas with lounges on all stories facilitate informal interaction and information flow between employees. The offices are aligned along the façade and enjoy natural light. On each level there are four units, which can be reached independently. In the communicative heart of the building there are communal meeting points, which, thanks to the courtyards, benefit from natural daylight. White is the predominant colour in the interior and features in combination with other finishes and materials such as natural stone flooring, fair-faced concrete surfaces, red carpeting, oak parquet, glass partitions and ALUCOBOND®. Eco-friendliness played a significant role when choosing these materials. The building’s appearance is defined by horizontal bands of windows and the ALUCOBOND® silver metallic façade. These features unite the individual sections of the building and create a harmonious whole. At the same time the high-end materials reflect the quality standards of s.Oliver’s brand products. The corporate headquarters also features an impressive and innovative energy system. The technical features include both concrete core cooling, which is installed close to the ceiling and as a result achieves maximum output, and a cutting-edge ventilation system, which enables a heat recovery level of over 80 per cent. The use of geothermal energy together with heat pumps means the building can be kept warm in winter and cool in summer without using fossil fuels.
