Modern design turns baroque into blue

Not a holiday destination in the sun but a great place to go at the weekend. Le Diam’s in Montluçon is the largest discotheque in the French department of Allier, and its architecture is highly visible from the roundabout and Athanor esplanade. It is a sculptural volume which visitors can view from all sides.

The architectural principle: the creation of an envelope fashioned from ALUCOBOND^® spectra Jewel. Illuminated at night with red lights, the volume is transformed into a light-flooded sculpture. The entrance is via a porch indicated by the red wall of the volume. This highly sculptural building is a top-quality recreation and pleasure location.
Le Diam’s, with its contemporary architecture and baroque decoration, offers a total area of 1,000 m² for 1,000 people on average. The complex features 2 rooms: the Actu where predominately up-to-the-minute electronic music is played, and room 80, which as the name suggests, is dedicated to music from the 80s to 2000.
