oor optimaal hergebruik te combineren met state-of-the-art materialen is Atlas, het stoere TU/e hoofdgebouw uit de jaren zestig, getransformeerd tot een transparant en energiezuinig universiteitsgebouw. Het gebouw is een uitnodigende entree voor de TU/e campus en een etalage voor innovatie en techniek. Onderwijs en onderzoek komen bij elkaar rond een opvallende trappartij die omhoog zigzagt tot op het dak. De studie- en werkruimtes worden via de transparante systeemwanden van QbiQ voorzien van daglicht door de nieuwe ultra-isolerende glazen vliesgevel met karakteristieke parallelle uitzetramen.

Atlas heeft een BREEAM Outstanding oplevercertificaat ontvangen met een score van maar liefst 96,01%. Hiermee staat Atlas bovenaan de BREEAM-ranglijst van duurzaamste onderwijsgebouwen ter wereld.
