Van Aaken Design zet Medite Premier MDF

As a designer and furniture maker, Tijs van Aaken is familiar with the importance of the quality of selected materials like no other. From his workshop in Hoogeloon, he works daily on various custom-made furniture for customers from all over the Netherlands. His children are a great source of inspiration, which is why he eventually decided to create extra special children's beds.

Simple (post) processing

Nowadays it is quite easy to order a ready-made bed with a great discount at a discounter. However, these beds are not very reliable and these structures can fall apart quite easily. That is why Van Aaken chooses to make children's beds with reliable MDF. So – after the bedstead is completely ready – he does not worry about the lifespan of his creation.

Apart from the sturdiness and reliability in the construction, MEDITE MDF is also extremely easy to process, according to Van Aaken. “Our children's beds are delivered unpainted, but ready to paint, to offer customers full creativity. MEDITE, with optimum pressing, is the ideal material for this. Not only for processing during milling or other sides, but also for painting afterwards without any changes in color or finish.”

High-quality, reliable and tailor-made

The Van Aaken Design children's beds consist of exclusive designs that are produced on request for customers. For them, the firmness and the longevity of the beds play a major role, as does the final appearance. For example, the interior designer has previously created a sturdy bedstead in the shape of a jeep. The robust appearance of the vehicle is further emphasized by the dedicated processing and strategic connection of all plates.
