The Ginkgo Sky bar is part of the exclusive hotel VP Design Plaza 5 * designed by B720, located in the city center of Madrid, Spain. Guest and other people are welcome to enjoy its incredible views of the city, to create an unforgettable memory.

Studio Gronda architects were inspired by the vegetation of the surrounding Plaza de España. They also took into consideration the weather conditions throughout the year: too sunny in summer and cloudy, windy, and wet in winter. To get a comfortable sky bar and for a minimalist integration into the curtain wall, they chose our XXL roller shades ARION, to cover large, glazed surfaces. This system is therefore ideal for hotels, museums, or even offices.

The Polyscreen® 550, with a 5% of opening factor, provides excellent thermal performance as a solar screen and maintains both views and connection with outdoor spaces. Its white color ensures a great level of solar reflection for better comfort. This Greenguard gold and health-friendly fabric helped provide an elegant finish to the façades.

The Ginkgo Bar is a place where contemporary architecture meets interior design, comfort, and well-being for users.

Inside meets outside

Ginkgo Bar has become an emblem of the hotel thanks to its design, space flexibility, and commodities. The large windows allow a real connection between inside and outside, where the user can also decide on full visual contact, more privacy, or solar protection when the sun is shining.

Arion system allows regulation of light throughout the day while contributing to the indistinct limit between exterior and interior thanks to Polyscreen ® 550 openness factor of 5% which let the panoramic view enters even while closed.
