The Woongebouw building, which was formerly the Philips headquarters in the Netherlands, is an example of how to transform spaces for a new use. This is a Diederendirrix Studio project that uses our vertical blinds to exalt the amazing glazed facade and allow the occupants to regulate light passage.
Studio Diederendirrix preserved the identity of the building, keeping its structure while developing a brand new façade for efficiency and comfort.
The golden façade plays with light. It incorporates horizontal sliding windows framing the horizon around the building and evoking the former horizontality of the original building.
Introducing a new scale into each loft and apartment, our vertical blinds are chosen for their easy orientation, light management, and for their ability to enhance the high ceiling.
