ABOUT THE ROLE
As an architectural intern at ADS74, you’ll be engaged in the design process from day one. Gain hands-on experience, collaborate with an international team, and contribute to innovative projects. We’re looking for enthusiastic, talented, and driven individuals to join our Rotterdam office.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN
As an intern at ADS74, you’ll be immersed in a comprehensive architectural design process, gaining hands-on experience in various facets of project development:

Engagement Across Design Phases: Participate actively from the initial concept design through to detailed design, understanding each stage’s objectives and deliverables.
Collaborative Design Sessions: Contribute to dynamic brainstorming meetings, where innovative ideas are generated and refined in a team setting.
Interdisciplinary Workshops: Engage in collaborative workshops with consultants and engineers, gaining insights into integrated design approaches and multidisciplinary coordination.
Technical Drawing and 3D Modeling: Develop proficiency in creating precise technical drawings and constructing detailed 3D models using industry-standard software.
Rendering and Graphic Presentations: Learn to produce high-quality renderings and compelling graphic presentations that effectively communicate design concepts.
Physical Model Construction: Acquire skills in building physical models, translating digital designs into tangible representations to explore spatial relationships and materiality.

This immersive experience is designed to enhance your practical skills and deepen your understanding of the architectural profession.

TOOLS WE USE
At ADS74, you’ll work with industry-standard tools and software:

3D Modeling: Rhino, Revit
Rendering: V-Ray, Lumion, Twinmotion, Enscape
2D Drawing: AutoCAD, Revit
Graphics & Presentations: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign

AVAILABILITY

Interns report directly to their project leader
Minimum commitment: 6 months.
Full-time availability is required
Immediate availability will be prioritized.
