JOIN ADS74 AS ARCHITECT

ADS74 is growing. We are looking for a highly talented Architect with strong design intuition who can contribute to shape ambitious projects, collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, and help translate bold ideas into well-coordinated, buildable architecture. You will work from our Rotterdam office on national and international projects, in close collaboration with our Dubai studio.

YOUR ROLE
As Architect you take an active role in shaping the project’s architectural vision. You combine strong conceptual thinking with solid technical ability and take responsibility for producing high-quality work.
You will:

Contribute creatively to design development from the earliest concept to technical design.
Produce clear drawings, diagrams, details, and 3D models that articulate and strengthen the design intent.
Work closely with senior architects and project leaders to refine and elevate design quality.
Participate in design reviews and internal critiques, bringing strong ideas and visual clarity.
Communicate with consultants and collaborate in interdisciplinary workflows.
Support the creation of compelling presentations and narrative-driven design documents.
Help ensure compliance with Dutch building regulations, international guidelines, and project-specific requirements.
Contribute to internal development of tools, templates, design standards, and knowledge sharing.

WHO YOU ARE
You are a strong designer first, supported by solid technical skills. You think conceptually, communicate clearly through drawings and models, and enjoy contributing to ambitious architectural visions.
You have:

A completed Master degree in Architecture.
3–5 years of relevant professional experience in architecture offices.
A strong design portfolio demonstrating conceptual clarity, spatial quality, and graphic excellence.
Experience developing projects across multiple phases (concept to technical).
A good understanding of Dutch building regulations and permitting processes (international experience is a plus).
The ability to transform design ideas into coordinated drawings and models.
Excellent communication skills and a proactive, positive, solution-oriented attitude.
Fluency in English. Knowledge of Dutch is a strong advantage.

TOOLS AND SKILLS
You are comfortable working with:

Rhino for design and 3D modelling.
Revit for BIM modelling and technical coordination.
AutoCAD for 2D drawings.
Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) for visualisations and design presentations.
Rendering tools such as Enscape, V-Ray, Lumion, or Twinmotion are a plus.
