Join ADS74 as Architect / Project Leader
Rotterdam, full time

ADS74 is growing. We are looking for an experienced Architect / Project Leader who can take ownership of complex projects, guide a multidisciplinary team, and translate strong design concepts into well coordinated, buildable architecture.You will work from our Rotterdam office on ambitious projects in the Netherlands and internationally, in close collaboration with our Dubai studio.

YOUR ROLE
As Architect / Project Leader you are responsible for the full trajectory of one or more projects, from early concept to completion.
You will:

Lead architectural projects through all design phases, from concept and schematic design to technical design and construction.
Coordinate and guide internal project teams
Translate design ambitions into clear drawings, details, and information that can be built, with a strong eye for quality and consistency.
Manage planning and ensure that project milestones and deadlines are met.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, specialists, and contractors, and represent ADS74 in meetings and presentations.
Safeguard the design vision during technical development and execution, and propose pragmatic solutions when challenges arise.
Ensure compliance with Dutch and international building regulations, permitting processes, and relevant standards.
Contribute to internal knowledge building, mentoring younger team members and sharing your experience within the office.

WHO YOU ARE
You are a strong designer with a solid technical backbone. You enjoy both leading and doing, and you feel comfortable switching between design discussions and detailed coordination.
You have:

A completed Master degree in Architecture.
At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in an architectural office, including experience as project leader or project architect.
Proven experience in leading projects through multiple phases, preferably including construction phase.
Strong understanding of Dutch building regulations, permitting processes, as well as experice with regulations and planning processes on international projects
Excellent coordination skills, and the ability to keep overview of planning, quality, and budget.
Strong communication skills, both internally with your team and externally with clients and consultants.
A proactive, positive and solution oriented attitude. You take responsibility and keep a cool head when things get busy.
Fluency in English is required. Very good command of Dutch in speech and writing is a strong advantage for this role.

TOOLS AND SKILLS
You are comfortable working with:

Revit for BIM and technical coordination.
Rhino for 3D design and complex geometry.
AutoCAD for 2D drawings where needed.
Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) for visualisations and presentations.
Experience with rendering tools such as Enscape, V-Ray, Lumion or Twinmotion is a plus.
