We are both an architectural firm and our client, among numerous other disciplines in the company, and have full control over our product and design. The interdisciplinary teams work closely together to further advance electromobility and give our clients a first-class charging experience.

Your role
As an Architect Lead Netherlands, you will contribute to the company's success with strategic and creative thinking, by building a team and delivering station designs for the best customer experience.

You will integrate our modular Fastned stations into service areas on the highway and inspire the team to come up with creative solutions to acquire new locations. Over the next year, your focus will be heavily on densifying our Dutch network and building the team.
You will primarily be responsible for managing the team of architects and technical designers in The Netherlands. Our expansion managers will bring in new location leads and you will focus on delivering station designs for the different stages of a project: from initial sketch and site investigation, to obtaining building permits from regional and local authorities.
The technical architects will detail out the execution package, and you will also oversee the plans and construction details for our contractors. You can go on site visits with the team and construction managers to see your beautiful projects being built!
Your role as Lead Architect is crucial to our multidisciplinary team. During your daily activities you will mainly spend time with our local Dutch team and will work closely with our expansion managers, construction managers and public affairs managers. You will also be in contact with our architects in Germany, Belgium, the UK, Switzerland and France.

Who we are looking for?
We are looking for an architect who takes responsibility for the Location Design team in The Netherlands. You are convinced of the importance of branding and visual identity and you can apply traffic safety regulations to your own design proposals. You are goal oriented and at the same time a true team player, able to navigate successfully in complex team dynamics and thriving for productivity. You take initiative and work independently with confidence.
You are not afraid to make mistakes and you always want to keep learning. "Think like a founder" is a statement you recognize yourself in. In addition, you also meet the following requirements:

8+ years of experience;
You can confidentially discuss projects with local authorities and you have experience with permit processes in The Netherlands;
You have experience leading teams and projects
You are passionate about coaching and mentoring architects and technical designers;
You speak fluent Dutch and English at a professional level;
You are highly motivated to accelerate the energy transition and belong to a fun company that makes a difference.
