The CubeHouse is a 13-story hybrid-timber office building with approximately 16,300 m² of workspace, located at the “Boog” plot in Amsterdam's Zuidas. Positioned above an existing parking garage, it bridges ground-level urban flows and an elevated working realm, signaling a new chapter in the district's identity.

The volume is organized around a resilient structural “plinth” topped by a sustainable timber superstructure. A double-skin facade creates transitional “breathe spaces” that moderate light and climate—blurring boundaries between interior and exterior with greenery and daylight-filled buffer zones. The publicly accessible ground floor and rooftop garden further connect building users to the city and sky, fostering a porous urban relationship.

Sustainability is integral: 75% of the structural materials are biobased, sequestering nearly 9,000 tons of CO2, while rooftop and facade-integrated photovoltaic panels generate 80% of the building's energy needs. Rainwater harvesting, greywater reuse, and climate-adaptive “breathe spaces” contribute to resilience against extreme weather. Designed to Paris Proof standards and WELL Gold–certified, The CubeHouse sets a benchmark for future-forward, healthy, and sustainable office architecture.
