Junior Architect

ADS74’s Rotterdam office is looking for Junior Architects to join the team.

As a Junior Architect at ADS74, you will work within a team on projects in all work stages, from concept design through to the technical and construction phases. In this position, you will be expected to contribute to concepts and design ideas, create renders and collages, draft technical and design drawings, build physical models and create presentations.

The selected candidates will report directly to their project leader and the design director in charge of the project.

Candidates who are available immediately will have priority in the selection process.

Requirements:

master’s degree in architecture, urban planning, design or another related field
minimum of three years' experience in an international architecture or design office
confidence in working in a complex and fast-paced environment
experience in large-scale architecture and/or urban design projects
strong conceptual, graphic and design skills
practical experience in early design phases such as concept and schematic design
strong Rhino, Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite skills
further technical and computational design skills are a strong asset
fluency in spoken and written English
Dutch and/or other additional languages are a strong advantage

ADS74 is an international design practice specializing in architecture and urban planning founded by Alessandro De Santis in 2022. The firm operates on diverse scales, from small buildings to larger projects including territorial masterplans. The team works closely with engineers and interdisciplinary specialists on different typologies such as residential, mixed-use, workplace, hospitality, retail, cultural and educational buildings and urban planning. The studio is based in Rotterdam where its close-knit team of architects work from.
