“Stad van de Toekomst” (City of the Future) – An exhibition designed by CONCERN opened at Museon in Den Haag on Thursday 20^th June.

The exhibition is thematically connected to “High Tech Romans”, the
successful exhibition about the discoveries and inventiveness of the
Roman Empire in many areas, including water and sanitation, city
planning, transport and communication. #Stadvandetoekomst explores
how a cities inhabitants can locally make an impact on global problems
such as climate change, urbanization and dwindling natural resources. You can visit the exhibition until 27^th October.

BUILD IT YOURSELF From the begin of the school summer holidays,
Museon with be focusing particular attention on the developments that
can influence a city. Visitors can learn about the trends and new
technologies in the areas of architecture, transport and food
production, with sustainability playing the central role. One thing that many of these new trends have in common is that they were not planned,
but developed organically, with the internet as a pivotal element. Be
inspired and build models in the design studio for the city of the
future!
